Vandalia Health Pharmacy Achieves ACHC Accreditation

Vandalia Health Pharmacy, formerly known as Health Center Pharmacy, has achieved accreditation through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for community retail pharmacy services, demonstrating compliance with national standards. ACHC accreditation reflects the pharmacy’s commitment to quality and dedication to enhancing patient care through consistent, evidence-based practices.
ACHC is a nonprofit organization that has been recognized for promoting quality health care since 1986. It meets international standards for quality and is approved by Medicare to review and accredit services like home health care, hospice care and medical equipment providers.
Vandalia Health Pharmacy, located at Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center, has long served the Elkins community and surrounding areas with personalized, convenient and professional pharmacy services. As a hospital-based pharmacy, it offers the unique benefit of close collaboration with local providers, ensuring patients receive coordinated and seamless care from the hospital to home.
