Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center Appoints New Chief Nursing Officer

ELKINS, WV (NOVEMBER 25, 2024) – Vandalia Health Davis Medical Center is proud to welcome Diana Landsverk as its new Chief Nursing Officer. A native of West Virginia, Landsverk returned home to assume this key leadership role, bringing with her more than 20 years of health care experience.

“We are thrilled to have Diana join the Vandalia Health family at Davis Medical Center,” said Dr. Krystal Atkinson, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Nursing Officer of Mon Health Medical Center and Chief Nursing Executive of Mon Health System. “Her deep roots in West Virginia and her extensive expertise in clinical and operational leadership will be invaluable as we continue to provide quality care to our community.”

Landsverk’s career has spanned acute care, critical access, and long-term acute care hospitals, where she most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer in South Dakota.

“I am honored to be given this opportunity within Vandalia Health and the Davis Health System.  I am joining a team that puts quality and patient care first,” Landsverk said. “It feels good to come back home to West Virginia.”

Landsverk holds an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Bluefield State University in Bluefield; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC; and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Gardner-Webb University in Shelby, NC. She is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Landsverk and her husband, Michael, have four children and five grandchildren spread across the United States.
