Occupational Therapy

The occupational therapists at Total Therapy Center work jointly with the patient and patient's families to develop a comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plan that fits each patient's specific needs.

Injuries of the hand and upper extremity:

• Carpal tunnel syndrome (conservative & post-surgical)
• Trigger finger release
• Deupytrens release
• Broken bones
• Nerve injuries to the hand/wrist

Short term rehab following:

• Total hip replacement
• Total knee replacement
• CVA
• UTI
• Generalized weakness following an Acute hospital stay

Adaptive therapies and equipment are recommended based on evaluations of all environments, such as home, work and school. Total Therapy Center practices a holistic approach to treatment that focuses on adapting an environment to fit the patient's needs.
