Dr. Walter Boardwine, DO, is now seeing patients at The Cowen Clinic. Dr. Boardwine is part of the Tygarts Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (TVOSM) team. Dr. Boardwine received his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. He completed his residency and clinical preceptorships in hand surgery, total joint arthroplasty, and geriatric medicine at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH.

With an extensive background in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Walter Boardwine brings experience in diagnosing and treating many conditions of the joints and bones. From joint replacement to sports and work-related injuries, he helps those with functional limitations in mobility regain their normal activities.
