WHAT IS 100 MILES IN 100 DAYS?
A self-directed program designed to get you in the habit of being active every day.
This program puts you in charge: you decide what time of day to walk and where to walk. You may also substitute running, biking, hiking, swimming, and aerobics for walking. Count your miles for running and biking. Twenty minutes of other aerobic exercise equals one mile.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Commit to walking at least one mile (approximately 20 minutes) each day.
If you are new to physical activity, check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you to begin walking as a regular daily activity.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration for the 2023 100 Miles in 100 Days Program is now CLOSED. Those who signed up begin walking on July 1.
HOW DO I LOG MY MILES?
Click here to download the printable mileage log sheet. Miles will no longer be turned in monthly. You will turn in one completed mileage log at the end of the 100 days. The last day to submit your mile log is October 20th.
WHERE DO I TURN IN MY MILEAGE?
Mileage Logs are due by October 20th. We will not accept any mileage forms after this date.
Mileage Logs can be:
- Dropped off at the Marketing House located at 308 Reed St., across from Davis Medical Center.
- Scanned and emailed to Kassie Miller at miller,kassandra@davishealthsystem.org
** DMC Employees may turn their mileage logs in using the interdepartmental mail. Please place the logs in the Marketing mailbox. Broaddus and BMC may send mileage logs via the courier, addressed to Kassie Miller - Marketing.
Be sure to have your mileage log completely filled out to ensure we have all of the necessary contact information and t-shirt size for the t-shirt pick up. This date is TBD.
