WHAT IS 100 MILES IN 100 DAYS?
A self-directed program designed to get you in the habit of being active every day.
This program puts you in charge: you decide what time of day to walk and where to walk. You may also substitute running, biking, hiking, swimming, and aerobics for walking. Count your miles for running and biking. Twenty minutes of other aerobic exercise equals one mile.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Commit to walking at least one mile (approximately 20 minutes) each day.
If you are new to physical activity, check with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you to begin walking as a regular daily activity.
Registration for the 2022 year is now closed and our participants are walking every day!
Join the DHS 100 Miles in 100 Days- 2022 Communication Board to connect with other walkers! We will use this platform to communicate with our walkers regarding monthly mileage uploads as well as promoting ideas to keep you moving throughout the 100 days.
Turn in your mileage electronically each month- the August mileage can be turned in by clicking the link below. You MUST remit your mileage EACH MONTH to be eligible for your T-shirt!
