Childbirth preparation classes
One-day childbirth classes are offered six Saturdays a year. The class is free to women who intend to deliver at Davis Memorial's Family Birthing Center, and $35 for others. Mothers-to-be should call (304) 637-3283 to register or for information about future classes. Classes are intended for women approaching the last trimester of pregnancy. Each participant should bring two pillows, wear comfortable clothes, and be accompanied by a coaching partner. Class size is limited.
Childbirth preparation classes will be offered on the following dates in 2011:

- March 12
- May 14
- July 16
- September 17
- November 5
Classes are held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the DMH Cafeteria Overflow located on the ground floor.
