Memorial Hospital is a highly respected, progressive, regional hospital
that has seen almost no managed care and provides services to a population
of 100,000. We have 34,000 ER visits, 4,200 surgeries, and 500 deliveries
annually. Davis Memorial Hospital offers state of the art diagnostic
services, including in-house MRI and 64-slice CT to support your practice. We also have 3-D ultra sound and in-house MRI. We
recently opened a new Radiation/Medical Oncology center, enabling us to provide
comprehensive cancer care locally, and our Cardiology group performs diagnostic
cardiac caths in our local cath lab. Davis Memorial Hospital enjoys outstanding
support from its medical staff.

Broaddus Hospital
Broaddus Hospital, a well-respected,
progressive, community hospital located in Philippi, is a member
of Davis Health System and a sister hospital with Davis Memorial Hospital
in Elkins.
Widely recognized for its beautiful scenery, rich historical heritage, and strong traditional family values, Philippi is home to Alderson Broaddus College, a 4-year liberal arts college with outstanding nursing and physician assistant programs. Students from both programs do clinical rotations at Broaddus Hospital.
Broaddus Hospital moved into a newly constructed facility in October 2000. The new hospital includes:
- 12 acute/swing beds
- 60 bed skilled nursing unit
- In-house pharmacy
- Inpatient and outpatient PT, OT, & ST
- Comprehensive lab services
- Diagnostic radiology including CT, Ultrasound, Flouroscopy, and NCR certified mammography
- PACS imaging system provides 24/7 access for difficult radiologic interpretations
